Insurance

If you have a different insurance plan that offers out-of-network benefits, and you qualify for a mental health diagnosis, I can provide a superbill (a detailed invoice summary of your paid sessions) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed—it depends entirely on your specific plan’s policies and coverage. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to understand your benefits and any requirements.
I’m also part of the Open Path Collective, a nonprofit network that connects clients with licensed therapists offering reduced-fee sessions (typically $40–$70 per individual session, depending on the therapist). Rates
The rates listed are full rates. You may have qualified for financial assistance or received a grandfathered rate based on when you began treatment, resulting in a reduced fee. This fee has been discussed and is reflected in your invoices located on the patient portal. All financial assistance will be re-assessed in January of each year, and a new Good Faith Estimate will be issued at that time. All rates are subject to periodic increases based on the cost-of-living increases yearly. If/when rates change, a new GFE will be issued by Clay Counseling Services, PLLC.
There are non-medical charges, as outlined in the Informed Consent for Treatment form, which are not eligible for discounts or Sliding Scale and due to the nature of the unpredictable nature of each client’s needs, will not be included in the GFE.
Payment
I take direct payment from all major credit and debit cards, Health Savings (HSA), and Flexible Spending (FSA) Accounts.
Notes
*Please note that CPT codes will only be used for reimbursement claims from your healthcare insurance provider.
*Cancellation within 24 hours of an appointment will result in the full price of a session.
*Should you fail to schedule an appointment for three consecutive weeks, unless other arrangements have been made in advance, for legal and ethical reasons, I must consider the professional relationship discontinued.
*No Show/No cancellation will result in a charge of the full price of a session.
