Every worksheet, handout, assessment, workbook, journal, planner, and educational resource has been thoughtfully created to encourage healing, growth, education, and personal development while honoring Christian values and professional counseling standards.

This Digital Product License Agreement explains how your purchased resources may be used and helps protect the intellectual property of Clay Counseling Services, PLLC.

By purchasing, downloading, printing, or using any Journey of Life™ resource, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this agreement.

Purchasing a Journey of Life™ product grants permission to use the materials according to the license purchased. It does not transfer ownership or copyright.

Choosing the Correct License

Every Journey of Life™ purchase includes a Personal Use License.

If you intend to use your purchased resources professionally with clients, you must purchase the appropriate Professional License Upgrade for that product.

Personal Use License

The Personal Use License is included with every Journey of Life™ purchase.

This license permits one individual purchaser to:

✔ Download purchased resources

✔ Print resources for personal use

✔ Reprint resources for personal use

✔ Store files on personal devices

✔ Use resources within their immediate household

Personal Use License Restrictions

The Personal Use License does not permit:

✘ Professional use

✘ Sharing digital files

✘ Emailing files to others

✘ Uploading resources to shared cloud storage

✘ Posting resources online

✘ Selling printed or digital copies

✘ Giving resources to friends, coworkers, or organizations

✘ Claiming ownership of Journey of Life™ materials


Professional Use License

A Professional Use License expands the Personal Use License.

This license is obtained by purchasing the appropriate Professional License Upgrade for the Collection or Bundle you purchased.

A Professional Use License permits one licensed professional to use the purchased Journey of Life™ resources within their own professional practice.

Examples include:

  • Licensed Professional Counselors

  • Marriage & Family Therapists

  • Clinical Social Workers

  • Psychologists

  • Coaches

  • Pastors

  • Chaplains

  • Case Managers

  • Other helping professionals

Professional Use License Allows

✔ Use purchased resources with your own clients

✔ Print worksheets for clients

✔ Reprint materials as needed

✔ Use during counseling sessions

✔ Use during coaching sessions

✔ Use during ministry sessions

✔ Store files on your own secure professional devices

✔ Maintain copies for your own ongoing client work

Professional Use License Restrictions

A Professional Use License does not permit:

✘ Sharing files with coworkers

✘ Giving copies to another counselor

✘ Uploading files to shared office drives

✘ Selling resources

✘ Modifying materials for resale

✘ Removing copyright information

✘ Claiming authorship

Each licensed professional must purchase their own Professional License unless otherwise authorized in writing by Clay Counseling Services.

Collection Licenses

Professional Collection Licenses apply only to the Collection for which the license was purchased.

They do not automatically extend to other Collections or Bundles.

Bundle Licenses

Professional Bundle Licenses apply only to the Bundle for which the license was purchased.

They do not automatically extend to other Bundles or Collections.

Complete Bundle License

The Complete Bundle Professional License applies to every resource included within the purchased Complete Bundle.

No additional Professional Collection or Bundle Licenses are required for resources contained within that purchased Complete Bundle.

Intellectual Property

Clay Counseling Services retains all ownership rights.

Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership of any intellectual property.

Only the right to use the purchased materials according to the purchased license is granted.

Prohibited Uses

Without written permission from Clay Counseling Services, you may not:

  • Share digital files

  • Give copies to friends or coworkers

  • Upload resources to websites

  • Upload resources to shared drives

  • Post resources on social media

  • Sell printed or digital copies

  • Include resources within another publication

  • Modify resources for resale

  • Remove copyright information

  • Claim authorship

  • Redistribute any Journey of Life™ resource


Educational Disclaimer

Journey of Life™ resources are educational tools designed to support counseling, coaching, ministry, psychoeducation, and personal growth.

They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace professional counseling, medical care, psychiatric treatment, legal advice, or emergency services.

License Violations

Unauthorized copying, sharing, redistribution, or resale of Journey of Life™ resources violates United States copyright law.

Clay Counseling Services reserves the right to:

  • Terminate licensing privileges

  • Refuse future purchases

  • Pursue available legal remedies

  • Seek damages permitted by law

Updates

Journey of Life™ resources may occasionally be updated or revised.

Purchasing a resource does not guarantee future revisions unless specifically stated.

Agreement

By purchasing, downloading, printing, or using Journey of Life™ resources, you acknowledge that:

✔ You have read this Digital Product License Agreement.

✔ You understand the license associated with your purchase.

✔ You agree to comply with this agreement.

✔ You understand that unauthorized copying or sharing is prohibited.

✔ You understand that violations may result in termination of your license and other legal remedies.
