My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and professional counseling experience where you feel supported as you pursue healing, hope, and personal growth. The following policies are intended to answer common questions about counseling services, appointments, privacy, and the use of this website and Journey of Life™ resources.

Counseling Services
Clay Counseling Services provides professional counseling for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. Services are available through telehealth for clients located within Texas.
Counseling services are individualized to meet each client's unique needs and may incorporate Christian principles when requested or appropriate. Every client is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion regardless of faith background.
Scheduling & Appointments
Appointments may be requested through this website, by email, or through an approved scheduling platform.
Insurance appointments are currently available exclusively through the Wellnite platform.
Appointment requests are not considered confirmed until you receive an appointment confirmation.
Payment & Cancellation
Payment is due at the time services are provided unless other arrangements have been made.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much advance notice as possible. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to fees consistent with your client agreement or scheduling platform policies.
Communication
General questions and appointment requests are welcome by email or through the website contact form.
For your privacy and security, please do not send confidential counseling information through standard email or website forms.
Clay Counseling Services does not provide 24-hour messaging or crisis response.
Telehealth
Telehealth counseling is available for eligible clients who are physically located within the State of Texas at the time of their appointment.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a private location, reliable internet connection, and appropriate technology for telehealth sessions.
Emergency Information
Clay Counseling Services does not provide emergency or crisis services.

Go to the nearest emergency room
Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
Do not use email, voicemail, website forms, or scheduling requests for emergency situations.
Privacy
Your privacy is important. Personal information is collected only as necessary to respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, provide counseling services, process purchases, and improve your experience on this website.
Counseling records are protected under HIPAA and applicable Texas law.

Refund Policy

Debbie M. Bryant is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC Associate) in the State of Texas and practices under the clinical supervision of Nichelle Allen, LPC-S, in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.

Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of counseling services before treatment begins.
